Mary and Baby Jesus

Colored pencil drawing of Mary and Baby Jesus. One can’t help but wonder Mary’s thoughts as she looked into her baby’s eyes. What did she teach Him, and what did He teach her? Although Mary knew that Jesus was the Son of God and King of the world, for a few precious years he was simply her baby boy.  “And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.”  (Luke 2:18-19)
