A Time to Laugh
Pencil drawing of The Savior spending a few playful moments with a boy and girl. Truly childhood is a time to love and laugh. Certainly the Savior encouraged work, obedience and reverence, but understanding a child’s need for unscripted play time, I believe He occasionally paused to enjoy the camaraderie of joyful interaction. “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven…A time to weep, and a time to laugh…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 4)

In response to requests for a drawing depicting both girls and boys, “A Time to Laugh” is actually a compilation of two separate prints; “Little Girls” and “Playful boys.”
