Young Women of Faith
Pencil drawing of two young women enjoying a few restful moments at the feet of Jesus. Sometimes viewed as Mary and Martha, this drawing illustrates the importance of setting aside our daily labors and making time to commune with the Savior. “But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42)

After completing several drawings of Jesus with babies and young children, I became aware that illustrations of Him with teenage youth were all but nonexistent. And yet I have no doubt that the Savior delighted in his associations with that age group. “Young Women of Faith” and “Young Men of the Harvest” were drawn to fill some of the art gap representing this corner of the Lord’s ministry.
