Pencil drawing of Jesus holding an infant to His chest and gently kissing the baby’s forehead. Though we are not infants, we can each experience the fulfillment of His promise, “I will not leave you comfortless.” (John 14: 18)

Jesus walked and talked to the masses, but He ministered to one individual at a time. When I drew Snuggling Infant, I hoped it would represent the love, security and reassurance we each can feel through the one-on-one relationship with our Savior. What I did not anticipate was the number of people who have felt His peace and comfort through this picture at times of grief following the passing of a child in infancy. Truly Jesus knows our needs and has the ability to succor us. (See “My Beliefs”)
